Aloaye International Foundation Inc.

To our partners, supporters, and beloved community,

Aloaye International Foundation Inc. was born from a place of profound loss, deep reflection, and unwavering faith. On February 17, 2020, my husband, Pastor Salisu Aloaye Marughu, transitioned after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. His passing shattered our world, yet it awakened a calling that had quietly been growing in our hearts for years — a calling to serve widows, orphaned children, and vulnerable families who often suffer in silence.

Pastor Salisu was not only a devoted husband; he was the proud father of six wonderful sons and the joyful grandfather of eight beautiful grandchildren, to the glory of God. His life was a testament to service, discipline, compassion, and faith. He worked as a Realtor, a Certified Substitute Teacher, a Social Worker, a Youth Mentor, and for 16 years, he served faithfully as a Regional Overseer with Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries. His hands were always extended to help, his voice always ready to encourage, and his heart always open to those in need.

After his passing, I knew that his legacy could not end with grief. It had to continue through purpose.

Aloaye International Foundation Inc. is that purpose.

We created this Foundation to confront one of the world’s most deeply neglected humanitarian crises: the systemic marginalization of widows and orphans in African communities and among diaspora families in the United States. We witnessed firsthand how widows are stripped of property, excluded from community life, and left to navigate grief while fighting for survival. We saw orphaned children fall through institutional cracks, denied education, stability, and love.

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to restore dignity, rebuild futures, and ensure that no widow or orphan walks alone.

The name Aloaye carries cultural meaning rooted in belonging, solidarity, and the enduring bonds of community. It reflects everything Pastor Salisu stood for — unity, compassion, and service.

Today, through your partnership, we are building a bridge between resources and need. We are creating programs that empower women, protect children, strengthen families, and uplift communities across the United States and Africa. Every act of kindness, every donation, and every volunteer hour becomes part of a legacy that began with one man’s life of service.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for helping us transform grief into hope, and hope into action.

With gratitude and faith,

Ms. Patricia Marughu
